Mataking Island Retreat

A long-planned trip to Mataking Island, an beautiful island lies in the Celebes Sea,

in the east coast of Sabah.

Such a nice island with crystal clear water that u can see 3 different shades of blue sea!

Despite security concerns (it is just 15 minutes speed boat ride from Philippines),

the resort is fully booked almost all the time.

There is a police shack at the other side of the island and the presence of

security forces guarding the island day and night left us a little less of worry of our safety.

 Mataking island consists of two island, namely Mataking Besar which is the resort located,

and Mataking Kecil.

We can actually walk from Mataking Besar to Mataking Kecil during low tide.

This is a perfect location to escape from busy city life. Non diver like us, there is nothing much 

to do in this island, however snorkeling in this clear blue sea is very enjoyable.

We spent most of our time here relaxing and enjoying the nice scenery,

admiring the beauty of the nature!

如果人生能像雨天，过了就是晴天，多好。。。

雨过真的会天晴吗？
